Christine Roth

Christine started doing hair on her dolls at age 6 but their hair never grew back, so she lost those initial clients. ;) She attended cosmetology courses during high school, entered her first salon at 15 as an assistant, completed both high school and cosmetology school at 18, and promptly began working “behind the chair.”
Christine founded Valley Hair in 1994. She runs the salon with her passion to connect with each of her clients, creating personal styles with both her love for color and some of the most sustainable hair products available on the market. She creates a warm and professional environment in her salon, so new and long-time clients feel like they are part of the family as soon as they walk in.
From fostering community within her salon to taking responsibility for her part in a sustainable planet, community is at the heart of Christine's mission.
Maria
Stylist
Maria’s great-grandparents, a beautician and barber, immigrated from Italy to North Philadelphia. There, they opened a salon, employing her grandmother, aunt and uncle. Although the shop closed when Maria was young, she felt compelled to keep the tradition alive and work in the cosmetology field.
Maria joined the Valley Hair family in 2014. She started working in a salon at the age of 15 and has been licensed since 2003. She loves color! From root touch ups, to three hour blonde sessions, she’s your girl!
Maria now lives in Langhorne with her husband and kids. They enjoy travel, their trailer down at the shore, baseball, and candy!
Lisa
Stylist
Lisa has been doing hair for 33 years, and Valley Hair Designs has been her home for 28 of those years.
She loves to cut and color, but mostly loves the relationships she builds along the way.
She wouldn’t be here without the support of her Valley Hair family (co-workers) and clients!
Shelley
Stylist
Shelley has been working in a salon environment since she was 15. Hair is her life!
Christine and she have been together for over 40 years. Outside of work she loves to spend time in Ocean City with her family.
When she says Valley Hair is just like home- it truly is.
Jackie
Stylist
Jackie joined Valley Hair Designs from a salon in Philadelphia where she worked for almost 11 years. After moving to Lower Moreland, she was in search of a shorter commute and a salon she could settle into for the next chapter of her career— enter Valley Hair Designs!
Jackie has a beautiful family and an infectious personality. She is never intimidated by who sits in her chair, is an excellent colorist, cutter, and stylist. We are so excited to have her in the family!
Caroline
Junior Stylist
Caroline spent her childhood in a salon and has been obsessed with hair ever since. She is passionate, playful, and posh!
Caroline is starting her career and offering special pricing for new guests.
